Week two of college: Complete. It was a pretty good week, although I've been having a ridiculous stomachache the whole time. I blame the Idaho water.. yuck. I only missed one class due to that, but that's because it was 8 am and I legitimately thought I was going to vomit. But then I woke up after a few more hours of sleep and felt a little better.
On Monday, we had our ward social and got our FHE families. I'm the MOM! Hehe
Tuesday was a long, but good day. Sister Julie B. Beck spoke at Devotional and it was great! Wednesday was just an average day where I stayed on campus and did homework. Thursday was the day I missed my public speaking class. But then, we went to IRON MAN 3 at 9:15, BEFORE IT OFFICIALLY CAME OUT! It was so good!!!! Best Iron Man movie, EVER!
We had a ward temple trip at 5:30 am on Friday which was good! It was a lot shorter than I wanted. I was expecting to have a fantastic day, but once I left the temple I was filled with so much contention and frustration. I plugged my earbuds in and listened to church music pretty much the whole time I wasn't in class. I really hated having that inside me, but it left after a lot of prayer and tears. I only had one class, so I was able to come home at 10. I fell asleep around 11:30 and woke up at 4. Considering I only had 4 hours of sleep the night before, it was an excellent nap!
Today is the first Apple Blossom in 19 years that I have missed! This is crazy! And it's not even like Apple Blossom is the coolest thing ever, it's just tradition and I love traditions! I got to FaceTime with my family, (and when I say family, I mean my whole family), which was great! Today will probably continue to be another 'lazy'-ish day. I'm going to go to the movies with Anna and Erica, then who knows what! If anyone knows of a Rexburg boy who needs a date.. ;) (SARCASM)
