Roller Coaster

Seriously... what an emotionally long week! Monday was really great! Tuesday was my first time doing stuff as an Involvement rep, and I was on campus and in a skirt for 12 hours. -_-  I MADE A NEW FRIEND THOUGH! That's always something my family celebrates.. you'd think we were losers or something...
Also, Tuesday was the day they released the news that the Wild would be moving to Texas. There is more to life than hockey, but it's really sad to see them go! Let's be honest, there's not a lot to do in the valley and a lot of our 'bonds' are dwindling, so it's been nice to have the Wild as a form of glue that holds us together. It's sad to see these boys who have contributed so much to our valley leave. They don't want to leave, either. It's just a sad situation.. I hope they can work something out so we can have good 'ole hockey in our valley, eh?
On Wednesday, I found out I didn't get a scholarship and I was  a mess for a good portion of the day. It's been a hard thing to deal with because even though it's not a tragedy, it makes you feel like a failure.  I understand it's not my 'fault', but it's hard to have to give in and help other people bail you out. But, we do what we must for our education. I just need to push my pride aside and only be grateful and humbled.
Thursday was just a grey day. It was one where you just feel inadequate. I was still dealing with the lack of money realization from Wednesday. The rain and black skies can't be helping my mood either. It did help that I got a package from home, though!! :) :) :) :) :) Sydney and I went to Dairy Queen and had one of our famous talking sessions. Man, I'm so glad I have that girl here with me! We then went back to my apartment and watched Safe Haven, while my roommate Madi shoved brownies down my throat. I only ate one and  half though... I was about to pop.
I only had one class today, so I lounged in bed until 10, watching Grey's Anatomy and The Office. I KNEW MICHAEL WOULD COME BACK FOR THE FINALE! It was so bittersweet.. They ended it very well. I'm currently sitting in the MC, deciding if I want to do laundry or just wait until I have absolutely no clothes left... Difficult decisions of a college student...
Tomorrow, Sydney and I are gonna go to breakfast at Smitty's in Idaho Falls!! It'll be like a little bit of home! Oh home.. how I miss you! I'm not gone lie, Wenatchee is breathtakingly beautiful! Although Rexburg has its moments, it can't top my valley!
Well, this wasn't supposed to be a complaining post.. but hey, it's my blog. I do what I want! ;)
