On this blog I'll talk about the joys of college, my experiences of being an adult, and everyday life. Criticism is banned, but happiness, joy, and laughter are not. Writing is how I choose to be creative and this blog is a way to get it out.
Summary of the past few months:
I started college at BYU-Idaho. I got the experience of living on my own, the joy of learning, and the skill of dodging the creepy guy on campus who asks out every girl who walks by. I learned things of the world and things of the Spirit. I finished my last math class ever and started wondering if English is the major for me. I jumped through numerous hoops to pass my ENG 101 class and I threw a fit the whole time. I missed playing with little kids and holding babies. I did not miss the smell of cat poop.I truly learned a lot a gained an incredible knowledge of the truth of the gospel. It's incredible to go to a school where you pray before each class, talk to the RMs about where they served, and have a picture of Christ hanging in your math class. Every Tuesday I sat with my brother and his friends at devotional and witnessed the power of Christ sweep over thousands of students.
After my first semester of school, I came home and had a wonderful Christmas. I'm now home until April.
There's much more to come, and it will hopefully be much more exciting than this!
