Why?
Because Monday is Bachelor day!
Sean Lowe. What a hunk! Not only is he Greek-God-Gorgeous, but he is such a genuine person. He is a family-first kinda guy. And, he is devoted to Christ, which is hard to find in a non-LDS guy. I know, I know... I'm turning into one of those obsessed and annoying, "nothing-is-wrong-with-him" girls. But if you were to watch him on the show and in interviews, you would see it. He has that spark and personality that girls swoon over. He's almost too great... he's like a fictional character.
I love The Bachelor/Bachelorette because it provides the hilarious drama that we all need. You've got the obnoxious yet hilarious drunks, the possessive and jealous girls, the coo-coos, and the girls who watch it all from afar and giggle. What's really cool is that Sean got ride of most of the psychos within the first night. He didn't keep any super crazy girl just for the conflict. There are definitely some nut jobs left, but hopefully he'll weed them out soon!
YSA:
I went to my first YSA (Young Single Adult) activity since being home. It was kinda weird since it's not a college YSA, but I still had a good time. It's fun because at college you don't know most of the people in your ward and FHE families so there's some awkwardness, but I've known most of the people here for many years so it was easy to jump in and talk. But, it was the first real YSA FHE I've had in awhile!Weather:
I am so happy to be in Wenatchee. 1) I get to be with my family. 2) I have my bed. 3) I have all of my craft supplies! (This is very important!) and 4) It's not -8 degrees, like it is in Rexburg. I am so happy that I am not at school right now because I do not do well with cold. And it has been plenty cold in Wenatchee, but nothing like the bone deep cold that is Rexburg. And poor So.Cal. Man.. 55 degrees... that's rough. I watched the news clip and it shows people in winter jackets and gloves, shivering. I understand that they aren't used to that kind of weather, but I find it so hilarious. In many places, people wear shorts and flip-flops in 55 degree weather! Haha!
Ramblings:
For the longest time, my mind has been set on never being a stay at home Mom. I've always wanted to be independent and have a job that brought in just as much money as my husband. But this past week I have been home, doing exactly what a stay at home Mom would do. (Minus the kids running around part..) I have done laundry and dishes, cleaned, and made dinner. After this and with some other experiences, I have decided that it wouldn't be bad to be a stay at home parent. As long as I was able to get out and have the fun/ alone time that I needed, it shouldn't be that awful. But, I will still have a degree so I can get a job if I want/need to. Education is key!Don't you just love reading my random thoughts? This is kinda fun...
Tune in next time for more exciting details about my day and more thoughts on Sean Lowe! ;)
